Our Subcontractor Vetting Standards

Quality. Compliance. Reliability.

To ensure the highest level of project integrity and site safety, every subcontractor in our network must undergo a rigorous 5-point verification process before being matched with a General Contractor.

1. Comprehensive Insurance Verification

We maintain current digital records for every partner to ensure zero-gap coverage:

  • General Liability: Minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate.

  • Workers’ Compensation: Active coverage for all employees (or verified State-issued exemptions for sole proprietors).

  • Additional Insured: Ability to provide project-specific endorsements upon request.

2. Licensing & Legal Standing

  • State Registration: Verified "Active & In Good Standing" with the Secretary of State (WA/ID).

  • Trade Licensing: Valid specialty or general contractor registration (e.g., WA Dept. of Labor & Industries).

  • Safety Record: Periodic review of OSHA/L&I safety violations to ensure a clean track record on site.

3. Operational Capacity Audit

We don't just check papers; we check performance:

  • Crew Verification: We confirm crew sizes and lead times to ensure the team matches the project scope.

  • Tooling & Equipment: Confirmation of specialized equipment ownership (scaffolding, heavy machinery, etc.).

  • Mobilization Speed: Real-time tracking of crew availability for immediate or future project starts.

4. Professional Reference Checks

Every new crew in our network is required to provide references from at least two recent projects. We verify:

  • Quality of finish and craftsmanship.

  • Punctuality and schedule adherence.

  • Site cleanliness and professional conduct.

5. Signed Performance Agreement

All subcontractors sign our Professional Code of Conduct, which mandates transparent communication and strict adherence to the General Contractor’s site-specific safety and quality protocols.
